The information supplied here should help you to plan your holiday with Rose Narrowboats easier.
Please fill in the form below to help us prepare for your arrival. This also saves time at check-in to enable you to start your holiday with the minimum of delays. Thank you. Carefully note the arrival and return times for your holiday. If you are not able to arrive at the stated time please contact us immediately – late arrivals may not be able to board their boat until the following day! We can safely store any luggage, cases etc. that are not required for your holiday. If this is your first time on a canal boat holiday then check out our New to Boating page. We also have a link to the Boaters Handbook and we ask that you watch the Canal and River Trust video. The video can be watched completely or as individual chapters, Setting Off, Handling the Boat, Locks, Bridges & Tunnels and Good Boating Practise. To see what equipment is on our boats then check here for a Specimen Inventory. If you are coming from overseas check our Overseas Visitors page for more information. Want to see which is the best way for you to travel along the canal? This generally depends how long you are on holiday and how adventurous you want to be. Our Routes page will help you decide. Finally Please Note Our boats are licensed for all C&RT Waterways: Extra licences are required for non-C&RT waterways such as the River Nene, River Avon and River Thames. |
