Rose Narrowboats Ltd is an Achilles UDVB Level B1 registered company with over 40 years experience of operating and maintaining a wide variety of inland pleasure, commercial and maintenance boats.
We carry out mechanical, hydraulic and electrical servicing and reactive works on floating plant for a number of commercial clients, including the Canal & River Trust. We recommend a quarterly or bi-annual inspection and service dependent on the boat’s usage and an annual major service. To complement this we provide suitable tailored documentation, namely a boat manual with details of daily and weekly checks to be carried out and documented by the vessels crew, for our clients to help you demonstrate best practice in the operation of your workboats.
We are also capable of undertaking new builds, modifications, major overhauls, rewires engine rebuilds and replacements.

We have our own Engineer who is fully qualified to carry out Marine Surveys.

Refooting a CRT workboat on our slipway.

Before and after: Refurbished work flat for Navvymech Ltd. The entire mid body of the hull was replaced as it was badly corroded, the front cabin removed and a non slip heavy duty work platform fitted in it’s place.
